What we collect
GenMockups does not collect personally identifiable information. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any account details. You use the tool anonymously.
We do not use persistent cookies for tracking or profiling. No session data is stored on our servers between visits. If Google AdSense is active on the page you are viewing, Google may set its own cookies as described in their privacy policy (see the Third-Party Services section below).
How screenshots are processed
When you enter a URL, our server dispatches a headless browser to capture a screenshot of that page. The screenshot is:
- Loaded into memory on the server
- Sent to your browser session
- Never written to disk, a database, or any persistent storage
- Discarded as soon as your session request completes
If you upload your own screenshot instead of using the automated capture, that file is also handled the same way - loaded in memory, used to render the mockup, and never stored.
We do not log, analyze, or retain the URLs you capture. The URL is used only to make the browser request and is not stored anywhere after the request completes.
Third-party services
GenMockups may display advertising through Google AdSense. If AdSense is enabled:
- Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history
- You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com
- Google's privacy policy applies to data they collect: policies.google.com/privacy
Other than Google AdSense, we do not share any data with third parties. We do not sell, trade, or rent any information to anyone.
Analytics
We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns - such as which pages are most visited and what countries visitors come from. This data is aggregate and anonymous. We do not track individual users or build profiles.
Your rights
Because we do not store personal data, there is nothing to request access to, correct, or delete. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data about you, contact us and we will investigate and respond promptly.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR. Since we collect no personal data, those rights are effectively satisfied by design.
